1 yYeah, I do dress well. And people notice. Which is not surprising. Because I look around when I go out and the average guy here in the US, even in upscale places in swanky towns, is out of shape and dressed like a slob. Shorts and t-shirts covering a beer belly and ratty sneakers with a baseball cap worn backwards. They don't even try. Or maybe they're trying too hard for that 45 year old frat boy look.
I get a lot of attention from women. I get "sir" from waitstaff. Other guys defer to me. Looks matter. And all we can control is fitness, clothes, and grooming. I do it for myself. It's about having standards for myself.

I don't go out of my way to follow trends or anything. I don't buy super expensive clothing. My style is really simple. Usually just a t-shirt and shorts, shoewear whatever appropriate for the context, usually no show socks, etc.
But I try to "maximize" that very simple style the best I can. As even if it's not particularly fashionable, make it look good on my body at least. So colors that go well together. Clothes that are properly fitted, not too baggy, not too tight. For my shorts, make sure they are well above the knee, I look horrible in shorts that don't show at least a little thigh. And so on and so forth. Lol.

Always
I learned a while back that how you dress impacts how you feel which impacts what you do and what happens to you
So I take my style very seriously
I used to throw on the closest hoodie to my hand and walk around like a homeless person thinking no one noticed

u 1 yYes. For Sunday Mass, I wear a nice suit, shirt, and tie. For work, most days, nice slacks, button-up shirt, and either a sport coat or blazer. The same applies for date night with my wife... that is, on the rare occasion that we're able to these days.

1 yI dress cleanly.
If that's nice depends on the level of consumerism in an observer.
I can't be molested with ''fashion'' - my relatively few pieces of clothing are tidy enough and chosen with sufficient timeless taste and all match - so I won't need to spend time in front of my wardrobe (which is basically and overwhelmingly occupied by the Missus anyway.

I dress primarily for comfort, not to impress anyone. Some people like that, others don't.
