Great question. As with all great questions, no simple answer.
The two are both very sexy. But, there's a time and a place for everything.
Lace is beautiful to look at. I think about when a woman accidentally bends over to pick something up and I see a slice of lace, I feel like she's sensual and cares about what she's wearing. That aside, it can be more or less revealing. To me, there's no question about the beauty of lace. I'm a guy. We're highly visual creatures. Lace is a treat for the eye.
Silk on the other hand, feels wonderful on the skin. It's nice to wear and to fondle. Visually, it can be uninteresting.
Choose your garments based upon what you want... And, as always, have fun!

Probably silk. Lace can be really sexy but the wrong lace can be itchy. Silk is always a good choice :)
