Does it bother you to be barefoot after removing your shoes?

Yesterday I invited a group of friends at my home. I asked her to remove their shoes but some of them wanted to borrow me a pair of socks because they didn't want to be barefoot.

I always barefoot at home. I like my feet to 'breathe'. And also on the other hand I can't get the idea of how some people walk at their home in shoes? Is it they show this on tv and movies only, or is it for real?

They don't want to wear shoes inside they just don't want to be barefoot
