How do you feel about cowboy boots?

I want to get some since i’m from the south and it’ll look cute for game days but I dont want to seem like a basic Whit* girl no offense! lol i’m armenian so.

Almost nobody here (in North Texas) wears them as practical footwear; they are very much a fashion accessory, stereotypically worn by the people who aren't actually from here trying to blend in. They were very trendy back when I was in high school/college or so, probably because Taylor Swift had popularized them, but it's been a while since I've seen a significant number of people wearing them anywhere outside of some kind of special event.

I'll leave them with the rest of the fad items created by Tik Tok influencers. They may be great for country western dancing or areas in the Southwest, but to me they always seemed awkward looking, kind of like a ballerina wearing Doc Martins.

Cowboy boots over here would be anything but basic, no matter who wore them.

So maybe that's one trick, move to Europe and suddenly your basic clothing choice is avant garde and refreshing?

I think it looks nice. Obviously a bit exotic to me so bonus points for that. Standing out, and being comfortable about it, is generally attractive.

Women that can pull it off, it's hot as hell. City folks that cry if they get dirt under their nails, not so much. Kinda like riding boots and pants. Super sexy look, but if you've never even touched a horse that goes against you real fast.

If you want to get some boots go get some. Make sure they fit right. You'll get blisters or they'll slip off way to easy. Go to the nearest Country Western Store. The sales people should know how to tell you how they should fit. I do. I use to work at one. Sold many birds and gators.

Not my style. If I'm wearing boots it's for function... I'll wear steel toe waterproof work boots with some sort of electrical hazard protection and some comfortable insoles. On women I don't find them all that appealing...
