Will a 165 cm girl be considered short?

I am 165 cm. Usually, no one tells me I'm short but whenever I tell people my height they act surprised and say I look way taller. They say that it is because of my leg height. What do you think? Is 165 short?

Why do so many people on here use cm as a measurement? I go by foot and inches so have no clue if that is short or tall. I mean we all have to use English here so why not at least use both - foot and inches / metric- in a question? I mean if someone asks a question, they should put both measurements - feet/inches and CM / MM down, or whatever the equivalent is for foot and inches.

Because the USA is the only country in the world that insists on using this medieval, foot and inches, system. Every other country uses metric system.

I don’t know where you are in the world, but in the US, that’s considered average height for a woman.

don't k now about average stats in countries but i'm 194cm so that would be short for me but in the end doesn't really matter, its you personality that matters, tall, short, skinny, chubby etc doesn't matter, as long as you are respectable, kind loving person than in my opinion everything is amazing about you. Appearance catches attention but personality catches the heart

That depends really. I'm 188cm so you would feel short next to me. And I of course would feel tall next to you.

165 cm is the definition of average height for a woman, at least in Europe. In Asia it may be even considered tall.
