Can you wear high heels 100% of the time?

Question

My best friend wears high heeled shoes 100% of the time. Even at home she wears high heeled flip flops. Same at the beach or at a swimming pool. The few times I saw her walking barefoot she was on her tiptoes

No. The human foot isn't designed to be held in an abnormal shape as found in heels.

By 40, after all, she likely won't be able to walk properly. Already it seems she damaged her Achilles tendon and suffering tendinitis hence on her tiptoes without heels.

I won't be surprised in the slightest that if by 40 she'll be suffering back, hips & knees problems as well as arthritis that may just very well be on par to a 60 to 80 year old.

You can, bit you'll regret it when your Achilles tendon shrinks and you get permanent tendinitis unless you walk on your toes.

You need to rest your feet in flats and do exercises to keep your foot flexible.

I frequently wear heels, even though I'm tall, but you have to wear well fitting ones and be smart about it do you don't end up with those ugly deformed toes.

it's a bad idea for the foot was not designed for that and puts the pressures in the wrong places. get caught on a "9/11" day where you gotta run like hell fast... and not good.

I go for practical... it's a shoe... not a statement. I also like cheap and good.

I question the use of shoes sometimes in general... but still wear shoes, not heels. good to walk around no shoes on the ground like our ancestors.

It's funny how many fashion trends and activities which were originally aimed at men are now staples in women's life and men avoid.

Originally women were banned from performing or even learning Ballet in the French court because it was too strenuous.

High heels were originally used by men to give a boost in height in a sword fight - best movie example would be "Rob Roy".

If they don’t hurt her feet and she likes wearing them , then so be it , Me personally loves a girl that wears heels , Heels on a girl can be sexy as fuck mainly from the way she looks in them , it gives her that sexy arch that shows her calf muscles and legs more , So if she looks good in heels she would be a girl that could easily turn me on

Wearing heels at home sound ridiculous!!! If I’m out running errands then I’ll wear heeled boots. If I’m at home or in class then I’ll wear sneakers. If I’m going clubbing or to a frat party then I’ll wear my 6 inch stilettos.

No way. I stopped wearing high heels back in 2021 and my feet, legs and back have all thanked me for it. Wearing high heels daily will cause a lot of problems later down the road..

You can, but it permanently shortens your Achilles tendon. She probably has to wear high heels now. Her feet, legs, hips, and lower back will all the permanently affected as well.
