What do you think about men with overall outfit?

I really like it but one of my friends told me that it is specific to girls, not a guy thing... What do you think? As a straight man can I wear an overall?

Lots of guys wear Overalls, but that is usually in a work setting, if anything it is women who have stolen the idea of them from men, overalls were used as far back as the late 1700s as a protective garment made out of denim and continued to be solely menswear until flying became a thing the the jumpsuit appeared, a slim-fitting, one-piece garment that covers the arms and legs. It was originally created in 1919 as a functional garment for parachuters to, yes, jump from planes in.

Aww shucks no, you didn't win and brought out the old country boy in me. My overalls oh wore em every day wore them to school I wore them to school every day to milk them cows when I got married. Yep, I had my overalls on riding on my tractor and my bride on my lap. She had her own too and we were a sight plowing that field with our overalls on then one day she made me wear a suit. I said what's that honey? I don't see no suspenders not made out of jeans but polyester what the heck no all I like is my overalls so don't just come in my favorite blue. You won't recognize me in that's their suit we laugh so hard and made love in our overalls for the last time cuz I look so good when I put that suit on I said baby to hell with this farm. Do you mean jumpers? They make "masculine" looking ones for men, but if it's not a big deal to you then you can wear whatever kind you want. I've never heard of overalls being called women's clothes, but they do also make those in different styles for men and women if you care. Your friend sounds like they're overthinking it.

How is it a girl thing? If anything girls stole it from guys. Men have been wearing overalls since the 1900s on railways, in mills, as boilermakers etc.

And women didn't start to wear overalls until WWII when they went to take on men's jobs in factories. They have been wearing them ever since.
