What do you think about men wearing leggings?

I'm a straight guy but leggings seem very comfortable to me. If a wear them, do people think that I'm gay?
I've encountered a range of opinions and reactions when it comes to men wearing leggings. For some, it's a non-issue and they see it as a matter of personal style and comfort. They appreciate the versatility and practicality of leggings, whether for exercise or casual wear. Others, however, may hold more traditional or conservative views, finding it unconventional or even uncomfortable to see men in leggings.
Personally, I believe in the importance of self-expression through fashion. If a man feels confident and comfortable in leggings, I see no reason why they shouldn't wear them. It's crucial to break away from rigid gender norms and expectations in fashion. Clothing should be a reflection of one's personality and comfort, rather than conforming to societal standards.
In recent years, there has been a growing trend of gender-neutral and inclusive fashion, which includes men wearing traditionally female-associated clothing items like leggings. This shift is a positive step towards embracing diversity in fashion and allowing individuals to express themselves authentically.
Ultimately, it's essential to respect individual choices and not judge someone based on their clothing preferences. As long as a person feels good about themselves and their outfit, that's what truly matters.
This is well said, thank you for a well explained answer
Everybody has their own opinion on that. You can't stop people from thinking. With transgenderism and everything else going on today, some might find it normal, while the next think it is gay. I guess do what you do best. No need to be a poser.
under gym shorts its fine but or else its weird
I wore them a lot when I was a kid. Mom refused to let me go outside and play in the snow without them. But, I suppose, what you're talking about are stretch pants. I don't see anything wrong with a guy wearing them but, I'm not a closed-minded bigot, like a lot of people. A couple decades ago, we played a few gigs with a band from Columbus that wore black and white ones on stage. Nobody seemed to give a shit. Sometimes I wear a skirt and pantyhose, mostly on stage, but nobody really says anything about it. My fans demand it. I've worn them on a bus or on long walks home after a gig. If we played in Youngstown, we'd stop in at the McDonald's on the turnpike home and I'd still be wearing that while waiting in line to be served. Nobody ever said a word about it, except for my singer. But, he was mostly joking around.
I'm not sure gay is fair. In many areas of many countries this would just not be attractive to women. We have many other options in clothing, I would mix it up in other ways.
But if this is something you like, why be concerned with what others think unless you do? I say be you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, Im a straight guy that has been wearing leggings for years. I am a beach runner of 17 years and knock out 10km each day on the soft sand not along the water line for a min 4 days a week so I'm in reasonable shape.
The way I see it as along as you wear leggings respectfully, not showing things that people don't want to see however it's up to you what you choose to do I am not the type of person to tell someone what they should or shouldn't wear.
I have had nothing but good compliments from guys lol and girls over the years, I wear them everywhere to the shops etc and as one of my jobs on radio we actually spoke about this and took calls from listeners.
What we found from listeners mainly from women they said mens fashion is sloppy. They don't like sweat pants it was considered daggy or lazy and big pants hanging around your ass was gross. Mentioned also was fit guys wearing skinny jeans or leggings or compression tights they liked it or didn't mind it. Another thing was said is some women shouldn't wear leggings and that went to guys as well.
I guess with everything you won't please everyone that's just how it is. You are not breaking any laws and it's our lives and I have the opinion if you have nothing nice to say don't say it.
I love my leggings just so extremely comfortable and I will continue to wear them. Rock your own style and enjoy your life to the fullest.
Thank you 👍👍
You tell me... leggings guy.
Among all things, why leggings? I know men are becomming more and more feminized today, but don't be part of the problem, be the solution. Men have a number of different choices of what to wear, basket ball shorts, jogging shorts, track pants etc. But LuLu lemon leggings are not one of them. Stop it, get some help!
I don't care what people wear, it's none of my business. But honestly there are much more elegant women's clothes to wear even for a man.
put on some sweatpants. Leggings are B. S. no one likes adjusting tight clothing 200 times a day. only reason for them is to attract someone, so yeah you are kinda gay.
Yeah. It’s kinda gay. I mean, you do you, but just know you may create a false impression. It only matters if it matters though.
Guys would call them compression pants. Helps blood flow during workouts. No issues.
But they are not working out while walking down the street. Jeans can be compression pants too if tight enough. 😝
@DubiousIntentions True. That is why I am not wearing them unless I am working out and so should every other man.
People will think you're gay if you so much as breathe wrong. Do whatever you want. People who know you will know you're not gay.
You wanna wear something comfortable, wear some sweatpants you're a man you don't need to wear leggings, and yes, that is gay people ain't gonna like that I said that but I don't care men should not wear leggings that's fruity is hell.
I've noticed it's becoming more common lately. I doubt it will be much longer before that's normal.
No, no, no, no, no, no, NO! This is just SO wrong. Don't do it.
Have respect for other people with a sense of proper clothing, if not for yourself!
Under gym shorts on a run, sure. Outside of that, I feel people would draw the wrong conclusion.. Shame. But if you're comfortable, go for it.. People who already know you will know who you are anyway.
Can sport whatever they want. They're not in a authorium government ruling country that expels domestic freedom.
I think men wearing leggings/sinny jeans/ sweatpants is 🤮
Put on some real pants boi!
Unless you're a cyclist or jogging in the cold, I would probably think you're gay.
Yes, if you wear them people will think you're gay.
I think it should be down to the individual as long as you feel comfortable. Who cares
I don’t like leggings on men
Yes, we will :)
