Why do people think men wearing women’s clothes and panties are gay? Or find it a “gay” thing to do and hate on it?

I’m 33 and I’ve been wearing women’s clothes and thongs since I was 15.
when I was 18 I started wearing them all day everyday.
I have short legs and I’m 5”6, mens bottoms are always too long in the legs for me, and womens clothes are made with shorter legs so fit perfect on me and look better.
I’m not gay and don’t understand why some people would label me gay or call it a gay thing to do?
women wear mens clothes and nobody has an issue with a women wearing mens clothes and underwear… so why do people have an issue with men wearing women’s clothes and underwear?
Should clothes have a label to state what sex they are for or should labels be taken off so people can wear whatever they want?
i don’t see the issue with men wearing women’s jeans, leggings, jeggings, trousers, shorts, skorts, jumpsuits, playsuits, bodysuits, swimwear and underwear… so what’s the issue people have with it when clothes are just clothes

Don't know, because the definition of gay is being attracted to men or having sex with men if you're a guy.

@Blackthong24 , I agree 100%. It's just fabric and if you find it comfortable and are comfortable with your own sexuality then who cares what you wear. I wear them myself and my wife goes shopping with me, she is totally ok with it. I told her I wanted to go to Victoria's Secret to look around and she was 100% on board and even picked out some for me to wear. I recently just started wearing women's leggings. They are so comfortable, I put a pair of jeans on and realize how uncomfortable they are. I actually got a free pleated mini skirt when I ordered a set of panties online, and I have to say that it actually didn't feel uncomfortable wearing it, even showed it to my wife and she suggested wearing a pair of black leggings under it (it's pink), just because of how short it is. Been thinking about getting myself a tight black mini skirt just to try it.
