How do you deal with mixed hair?

I’m mixed black and white so my hair is hard to deal with. If you have straight hair or are white Asian etc be very happy you don’t have to tame your hair you can just exist and NOt have a knitted mess on your head lol

I’m biracial too, and of course it depends on what genetics you got from your parents as to what type of hair you have.. lol. Like my hair is looser curls but my sister has very curly frizzy hair probably what you’re describing. It’s also hard when your mother specifically is the one who isn’t black.. no offense lol. But I think you should look up your hair texture and follow their regimen. That’s what my sister did and our mother took good care of finding us the right products. I definitely know it matters what hair regimen you follow because the products my sister uses are too heavy for my hair. It also has a lot to do with your hairs porosity. Hers is high porosity and mine is low. Just YouTube some hair regimens. There’s wayyy too much info out there to be asking questions like this 😂

Brush twice a day be realistic about what hair style u want and what u would class as tamed even when unknotted my hair is not straight also working out what works for u I don't wash my hair frequently because it leads me to have a dry scalp but I also tend to apply oil to the ends of my hair

No we won't but to be honest it's nit somthing I think looks good anyway hate when I see natural curly hair been straitened it looks so plastic but yeah just tey stuff out and work out what types of brushes or combs work best for u im currently using a tangle teaser for my hair and it does a decent job of not ripping out tangls

Curly hair is the result of spiraling hair follicle shafts, I'm not sure if its possible to straighten them with mild tension or something (it may simply damage the hair), and heat straightening damages hair.
