Personally if I have my nails done, I prefer a long oval shaped nail. I like square ones too if done well and not too square. 💅

I feel like this question was made for ME, even though I know it wasn't. Your "long" length actually looks shorter than your medium length. I honestly care more about her nail BEDS, but I do prefer if they stick past her fingers a little bit, I think it looks more feminine. Honestly, anywhere between "medium" and "poke your eyes out" is fine, as long as she knows how to maintain them.

u for myself I rather keep them short and neat, on girls though... I like them medium length if they're to be square or long if they will be any sort of pointy shape

I agree with you. I prefer medium to long length and then in an almond shape. I think they look the prettiest. And then they shall be clean of course.
I was a nail biter when I was younger. And now that I finally got rid of my bad habit which for my part was caused by insecurity I want to have long nails. Now long nails symbolise confidence and beauty to me.
Short ones are better. I can't stand Short ones are better. The fake ones are very repulsive to me. It also causes injuries. It also remains very dysfunctional in daily life. You cannot scratch a part of yourself properly, nor can you love your spouse or child comfortably. The best ones are the most natural ones.
Short, but not too short because if I cut them slightly too short by accident then they become ingrown for a while.
But I definitely don't like long nails because then they start to get in the way and break more easily. Not to mention the dirt that gets stuck under them.

I like Medium to long length natural nails.. Shorts ones have always been kinda ugly especially with nail polish on them.. Although the ones in the pic look good. They're not too short and the polish is neat and not so flamboyant.
Long ones are bothersome when I use the keyboard the whole day long and also it's not possible to properly keep a gun if you have longer nails. So short, the best without any nail lack.

I think the shorter look better honestly I think the long ones often look pretty fake, more so if they are square. I also think that just simple colours look better. I do believe that there is an elegance to simplicity that seems to be missing from a lot of things these days. I also would say that the fact that shorter nails are a lot more practical and it's nice to see that.
Short looks mundane, the medium look amazing, the long look like daggers, the longer still look like the kind a high maintenance woman would have.
