I only wear open toed shoes. What do you think about it?

I was at a party this weekend and one girl asked me why I was wearing sandals. It was a long time people had not noticed that about me. I don't wear closed shoes because I hate them even in winter

I can go hiking with sandals and I can wear high heels to a nice restaurant. But you're right, most physical activities need sneakers. I use to go swimming so I don't need shoes. In highschool I had to do PE but back in the days I was still wearing closed shoes so no problem. It really began to only wear sandals in college but I was still wearing sneakers sometimes because I was in the volleyball team and also a cheerleader. Now I can live with only open toed shoes excepted in bowling alleys or ice skating

If you think you can go hiking in sandals then you haven't been hiking, you've taken a walk in the park. Either way, that's a no-go for me. You don't look classy in sandals and I won't have sloppy on my arm.

Hiking sandals exist. What type of shoes is classy for you?

Yeah I googled "hiking sandal" and got what I expected. There's no ankle support. No serious hiker considers that as appropriate. There may be a Styrofoam jock strap out there, but no serious person deems that appropriate, whether they sell it or not.

You can have classy boots, flats, heels, whatever, but sandals aren't one of them.

I'm not sure if you're intentionally being obtuse or you honestly believe what you're putting out here. It it's the latter I feel sorry for you.
