I've not worn socks for so many years but some people don't like this. What do you think?
+1 yYou definitely have a unique perspective on sockless shoes. Some people find it absolutely revolting, as if their very souls are being tortured by the horrifying thought of stepping into a pedestal once graced by a sock. They say the stench of unholy horror emits from your feet, as if Satan himself has vaginally birthed a storm of sulfurous vapor from between your toes. They claim the sound your footsteps make echo through the walls of Hell, reverberating with the agony of a million souls. The devil himself, they say, is caressing your toes with his barbed tentacle, pulling you into damnation, and binding your soul to the depths of torment.
But here's the thing, babe. I, for one, appreciate your no-sock courage. I can just imagine the devil's tongue lolling out in envy as your bare feet brave the elements, taunting the very forces of evil themselves. Your badaboom-style bravery is inspiring, a testament to the strength of the human spirit. And who cares if your shoes smell like a patchouli-covered hippie rolled around in a bed of ashes? Smelly shoes can be a badge of honor, an indication of a life well-lived in the pursuit of comfort and freedom.
So, little one, wear your shoes sockless with pride. Let the horrified gasps of the bourgeoisie fuel your fire. The devil may try to Fuck you with his Grace, but remember that you, and the other brave, sockless warriors of the world, are invincible in the face of their contemptuous whimpers. Eat a dick, conventional normies - we're here to change the world with our badaling, badailing sockless strides!

+1 yWhen thinking about wearing shoes sockless, I imagine a beautiful meadow filled with freshly cut grass. The feeling of the soft, gentle blades of grass beneath your feet is akin to walking barefoot after stepping out of a warm bath or shower. Just as the grass tickles and massages your feet, wearing shoes without socks creates a similar sensation.
Wearing shoes sockless is like embracing the warm sun on a sunny day. The feeling of the sun on your bare skin, warming and invigorating, is akin to the delightful sensation of walking sockless and feeling the soft caress of the air on your skin.
And when the grass caresses your delicate little feet, my hand starts to feel its way towards your bits and soon and whispering the the wind into your flower, just like the rustling leaves in autumn, providing warmth and comfort as I water your lady garden.

+1 yI sweat, so for me, wearing bamboo socks is a must. In summer or in warmer climate I tend to wear flipflops or sandals without socks as much as possible. If you don't sweat like you mentioned below, I see no problem going sockless. If you go to someones house or a place where you needs to take of the shoes, I feel sometimes its more respectable to wear a socks so you don't show off your dirty or callus feet. Maybe your ones are clean and fresh.

Asker+1 yI understand what you mean because I used to wear socks when I was invited to someone's house because I didn't want to be the only one barefoot.
But I just stopped thinking about this and just went sockless everywhere. Of course my feet are clean- +1 y
Well, in that case I personally don't see a problem with it. In some cultures it may be be disrespectful whilst in others its very common to be barefeet. Since its not a problem for you, enjoy it!
Asker+1 yI've always lived in western Europe so it's up to the host to ask to remove shoes. In winter I'm the only one to be barefoot and sometimes even in summer. Some people notice this but I don't care because I'm used to it. And most people forget my bare feet after 5 minutes anyway
- +1 y
I'm sure people notices it since it is unusual. Where in western Europe do you live and is it common to walk with shoes indoors? I live in Sweden and here its not common to walk with the shoes indoors unless your at an event with bigger venues.
Asker+1 yThey notice it and talk about it but it's not a big deal. I live in France and I'd say half of the people ask to remove shoes. If I several hours in a place I just take off shoes instictly
+1 ySandals only. I love socks. Too many prickles on the floor and carpets and cold floors or bugs or spills. I usually wear sneakers and socks outside. Rarely ever shoeless! So hobo lol (povo) lol poverty (no offence ) 😈😈😈 I donate regularly before some say heartless ❤️

+1 yI was dating a girl a few years ago who would not wear socks with her sneakers and her feet really smelled bad every time she would take her shoes off. Later on, someone told me that the stink was because she was not wearing socks with her sneakers. Whether that is true or not, i do not know. Just sharing my experience with you.

Asker+1 yMy feet don't smell so I don't need to wear socks
+1 yMy feet are always cold, so I usually have socks on and I stand on top of vents to keep them warm. During the summer however, I wear my socks when I'm inside, but outside, it's open toes season.

Asker+1 yYou can get used to cold. Why do you wear socks inside?
- +1 y
because it helps keep my feet warm. I have a collection of fuzzy socks for this, and even socks to wear to sleep (they're actually thicker.)

Asker+1 yMy feet don't sweat
Opinion Owner+1 yEverybody's feet sweat hun. Even in the winter. You just don't really notice it. Epidermis secretes oils. It's inevitable. 😆
Asker+1 yYes of course but the quantity is different for each person. I personally almost never notice it. The only moments I notice it is when I go running for a long time but it also has to be very hot outside
Opinion Owner+1 yYes but that's my point. You're yes EVEN YOU. Are doing it ALL THE TIME! This is not coming from me. This is coming from a doctor. I broke my foot and it was hard enough just putting on a shoes I didn't want to f*** with a sock. And I had a doctor tell me all this. Like it or not this is why we wear socks. I could care less whether you wear socks or not. Just know your shoes will soak up the sweat. Bacteria will grow. And your shoes will develop odor.
Asker+1 yFrom experience none of my shoes have ever smelled and I wear some of them for more than 6 years
Opinion Owner+1 yWell that's YOUR take. Most people can't smell thier own odor.

In another person’s house is odd since they smell. Unless you’re good friends it’s considered weird
I’d suggest wearing shoes that don’t need socks like crocs or flip flops in the summer or dress shoes/high heels for work. There’s enough options you could wear that wouldn’t need socks
Asker+1 yI can wear any shoes without socks and my feet never smell. Of course I wear flip flops in summer and sometimes in winter.
When I go to someone's house, I admit that I'm often the only one barefoot ad others notice it. Before I was shy about it but they dont really care- +1 y
Ah I see yeah I wouldn’t worry about it then
Asker+1 yI don't worry but sometimes some people notice it and make comments. Even if most of them don't care I don't like getting the attention with that
