I have very dark eyebrows and eyelashes and am brunette. I never wear makeup and was having a discussion with work colleagues. Some said I could get away with not wearing it due to my dark features and others said they could tell I wasn’t wearing it
+1 ySome girls don't need it? I mean some girls don't put on the fake stuff and they look like freaks... they became dependent on the fakeup. Their skin is so pale that it looks like they have goth makeup on... no eyebrows... they don't have lips anymore... it's bad. Years of makeup make them look like basement trolls once it's all washed off. Think about it... they'll hide shit like acne with that crap... which makes it worse. And while a natural girl just naturally got over her skin issues... she's all breaking out still and hiding it under a layer of oil and crushed-up minerals.

I'll put it like this... I can pretend I'm a millionaire and own houseboats and shit just because I know women will be attracted to me because of it... But if I do that... you respect me more or sort of look at it as a sick practice? Same with a girl wearing makeup.
Sure, it works in some scenarios... but it's really sort of sick if you think about it.
Shit... should I wear high-heeled shoes too just because I want short chicks that would like taller kids to hit on me?

I think the point I was trying to get across is that the minerals and oil (which is the makeup) is bad for the skin. I mean it's colored dirt and oil being applied to the skin. That's got to cause some skin issues... and then on top of that, it hides the skin from any sunlight. I've seen it a few times before where a chick that wears makeup on the constant, has to go without for some reason... It's crazy to see because her face is pale, looks like rats chewed her face, and her eyebrows are gone.
I think for those that I'm thinking about, have become dependent on makeup... just to be normalish looking they literally have to put that makeup on. And they did it to themselves over time.

But women who are skilled at the use of natural, "no makeup" invariably look better than no makeup at all. Makeup distinguishes their femininity. It can make them glow and look fresh.
A bit of concealer, eyelash and eyebrow mascara that matches their hair color, a small amount of subtle eye shadow, and a natural shade of lip gloss can accentuate her eyes and lips without looking obvious.
I, personally, hate big, fake eye lashes; dark eye liner with points at the corners; painted on eye brows that don't match her natural hair color; obvious foundation, eye shadow and rouge, and extravagant lipstick.
It's obvious when a woman is wearing a lot of makeup. When she is doing the natural, "no makeup" makeup look, I can tell that she accentuated her eyes and is wearing lip gloss, but that's about it. If she did it right, I have no idea if she used concealer or anything else. And I don't care. I appreciate the fact that she looks beautiful and went to the trouble to look her best for me.
I doubt if many guys can tell, either. A woman here once said that all guys notice is lipstick. She may have been right.20 Reply

Guys like no make up / a natural look a lot of the time. My last relationship for example she preferred wearing makeup so she did, but without it I found her equally pretty and did point that out to her.
So its not a matter if we can tell your not wearing make-up, make-up is originally meant to hide flaws to trick a man into thinking your more attractive. If you don't have those flaws you need to conceal you don't have to rely on it.

Asker+1 ySo can you tell when a woman is actually bare faced. I’m not referring to no makeup makeup but absolutely nothing? Say if she’s got dark eyebrows and eyelashes naturally?
Yes it's obvious, I'm not really a fan of women with makeup but obviously it's something tbey want to do.
I don't mind light makeup like you show in the picture, I prefer the makeup you hardly see like light foundation but lipstick, fake eyelashes and excesseries like fake nales, earrings and that isn't something I'm attracted too.12 Reply

+1 yI think as a woman ages you can tell. It also depends if you're familiar with her or if she is just a passerby on the street. I can't remember the last time my wife wore make up, probably somebody's wedding from years ago. The younger the individual, the more challenging it is to tell, especially if he or she is a stranger.

+1 yLess is more in most situations with make up. Think of guys wearing cologne. A small hint of it is pleasant but too much is way to much.

Honestly this all depends on your age, how you are interacting with guys, etc.
The biggest turn off to me personally is when a woman doesn’t regularly shave her legs and especially her armpits at least once a week (daily is unreasonable so I get it). I know it’s a pain in the ass. But that’s my numbero uno turn off and it always has been.
Asker+1 yI shave every other day. It doesn’t look the same as a waxed look but has black dots so not lots of hair but borderline stubble
- +1 y
That’s completely fine. I know much be a pain in the butt to have to shave often. Women do have my sympathy when it comes to that kind of maintenance. But honest hairy girls….. ugh ugh. Some guys don’t mind but I’m not one of them.
+1 yHell yeah we notice big time.
We see you. Men don’t wear make and if they do it’s for a bold reason like a sporting event or a Halloween even.12 Reply

It would say it’s pretty hard to fool me. The more “flawless” a face looks initially the more I’ll look farther. It don’t take long sometimes I’ll notice the little things pretty quick but, I just notice and I personally don’t mind and like when girls want to slightly enhance their beauty but I think most guys would agree that too much is overkill. The eyebrows will look symmetrical on most women and from there I can easily tell if it ie pencil in or worse penciled entirely. Eye lashes that are fake and super noticeable to me are not my absolute favorite girl trend but it’s not killing me yet. One thing I noticed is sometimes some women will apply lipstick way more beyond where their natural lip edge runs then artistically fill in the space with more lipstick and whatever then use more lipstick or makeup then, her lips appear to be fuller and stand out more.
+1 yI can usually tell, I'm pretty observant.. Also, it's not super hard to tell..

Yes. The skin tone is different than her natural tone. We can see what girls want to highlight. Less is more. If you make your eyebrows too dark it a turnoff. Generally, men want the original look.
Lol it depends but most of them can't except when it's very obvious.. but they'll probably won't notice if you wear a natural look.

if you mean a "natural makeup" look, yes... or very minimal make up, yes, I can tell the difference
but you see I've had girlfriends before, and I've lived with them, lol... and most of my close friends are women too, so I know... how it all looks
waking up in the morning, light makeup, natural makeup... it's not difficult to notice when you're used to it, lol
Asker+1 yThat makes sense. Just some guys think a woman isn’t wearing makeup when she’s wearing no makeup makeup so you’ve got experience
