What do you think about guys who wear fake name brand clothes?

alright, so i asked this dude. he's 47 years old. why you wearing all this fake name brand stuff. that's all he wears by the way. he dont wear no "regular" clothes. he said "so i can look young", but i ain't never seen no young people dressing like that. do these clothes actually make him look young?

Even having the real brands looks silly too, in my opinion. People being head to toe in Supreme, 10 Tree, and Adidas (etc) looks hilarious.

Who cares. I was made fun of because of the fact I wore no name brand clothes growing up. My response was "least my parents aren't stupid enough to spend an extra $35 on a logo the size of a quarter." Turned out to be a very effective response since some kids stopped wearing name brand clothes. Others escalated their attempted bullying. End of the day what I realized is their are morons who buy name brand only thinking they get some superior product and then their are intelligent people who realize spending $15 achieves the exact same results and lasts as long or longer than the moron spending $50 for a tiny little logo. Those kids that were obsessed with name brands... yeah most of them have pretty shitty lives now because they continue to waste money on name brand clothes.

@Dinklex3 happens in every school. Course this was 25 ish years ago when name brands were still establishing themselves. I will say without the idiots though my family wouldn't have made the amount of money they did. My parents invested in some of the loudest name brand clothing labels and made a fortune so huzzah for that

I think he can wear what he likes. On an avg. Day I wear warm up pants or shorts, a jersey or a t-shirt, and a fresh pair of J's. I don't look like most 48 year Olds. But it's what I feel comfortable in. It's who I am.

And no he don't look 47 to me. I don't know why he cares about looking young tho.

I don't even know what names are important to wear in the first place.
I know Globe is one of the better fire gear manufactures, our Gildan FD T shirts hold up well, 5-11 sweatshirts, pants and dress shirts are made well and hold up well, after that I have no clue what is in or yesterday's fashion to wear much less if it is fake or not.
I might not be their target audience.

this guy lives in the hood though. if he had money he wouldn't be living in the hood. he commutes like an hour and a half to the places he hangs out (via public transport)

I mean I don't know what the hood is for you but where I'm from they absolutely wear a ton of fake clothes and jewelry in the hood for clout. I am not a part of that lifestyle but I think it's mostly about attention and getting people to see you
