What do you think about wearing fakes?

I've recently became a little obsessed with buying fakes. Im not a massive brand whore who cares what people think of me but a lot of fakes I buy are from a American brands that are hard to get to the uk.

I recently bought a fake love shack fancy x stanley lunch bag and two pink palm puffs hoodies.

Not many people know these brands in the uk and I always get complements on these kind of things and asked were I get them from usually im honest and tell them kts fake. I live in a town off the boarder of the West Midlands but im originally from a little village near the east side but overall people around me dont now big American name brands and dont have the luxury of designer stuff besides stuff like North face and Nike so they dont know the difference from the fakes.

It just sometime worry about the stigma of buying fakes. I studied fashion so I understand a lot more then others about brands and designers then the usual person in my environment.

As long as they do what they're supposed to and do it well enough, I don't really care who makes it!!
Take a look at my drums! A 14-piece set of at least 5 or 6 different brands and at least 7 or 8 different colours. As long as they do what I want them to do, I don't care who makes them or what colour they are!!
There's only a couple things I'm a brand-whore about, mostly music and computer tech because I don't want to buy shit and have it go bad on me in a few months!!
Computers: mostly Dell or HP.
SD cards and jump drives: mostly SanDisk
Blank CD's/DVD's: Sony, Fuji, Imation, TDK
Blank tapes: TDK, Sony, Fuji (I'd get Teac, if I could afford them but, they want $20-some for a single cassette!!)
Recording gear: Teac and Tascam
Speakers: Bose
Root beer: A&W

Wear whatever you want. You might try visiting resale and thrift stores in wealthy neighborhoods. You can find designer clothes and shoes in very good condition for a fraction of the original price. My wife has many great pieces she found that way.

I live the uk. Its not as good as the us. Its usually someone's dead nans night dress you'll find in a charity shop over here

What do you think when you see someone out in public with fakes?

I don't care to notice most the time unless its like a girl walking around primark with a chanel bag then I think they look like a twat especially if its obvious and its like logo stuff.

I like to be subtle with designer fakes or it looks cheap and tacky.

Im not poor but im also not buying full price when most the time its all made in the same place
