Should leggings/spandex -like pants be allowed in the workplace?

No it isn't professional. But I still see it a lot anyway in North America. Especially Gen Z employees. They even get away with crop tops at work which is despicable.

To me it depends on the work and level of interaction with customers/clients. In a professional setting no one should be wearing spandex, but if you worked at a gym then why not. Context is everything.

In Europe they have a law called upskirting maybe that has something to do with it.
