A pretty blue dress for her birthday and a pretty handbag and some hair clips for Christmas? If not, give me advice please? She gives me really beautiful gifts that I can’t afford to return to the same extent.

It’s absolutely fine especially because you don’t have money, if she is a good friend she will be appreciative of the gifts. I get it sometimes it’s easy to feel bad when someone’s giving you things.

But it does show you’re a good friend. That you do try to give her things too. You don’t HAVE to give her anything the same way she doesn’t have to give you something. But it shows you care for one another.

Some people though take from others and never give anything in return.
