A black lace dress could definitely work, as long as it's not too fancy or long. Rock parties usually have a more casual vibe. Lace sounds cool and kinda rock n roll. I'd say it depends on the length/fit.

Something above the knee would fit the vibe better than a longer dress. You don't want people stepping on it accidentally while rocking out! And a tighter fit shows off your style, just nothing too revealing either.

Some ripped black jeans, a cool band tee or top, and awesome boots would also be a great rockin' outfit. You could even do the jeans with a lace cami underneath for a fun look. Accessorize with belt chains, bracelets, necklaces too.

A concert -specifically rock- is not a fashion show.
If your question is serious, ... you better stay at home until one day you can "feel" what rock is :)
Otherwise - put on something that suits the weather that day.
