TNG for me although I might be biased since it's my absolute favorite of the Star Trek series. Yet I genuinely do think the uniforms looked the best.

There wasn't that substantially much different that I could tell in DS9 or Voyager (although my memory is a bit fuzzy).

The one thing is that Deanna Troi's original uniform looked a bit tacky to me. I think it was better in later seasons when they just gave her the red commander's uniform.

As for me I have a Star Trek Voyager Uniform or costume & although it was hot it was somewhat comfortable. Did you meet Amy? Throw her a few questions.

Nice! I managed to meet Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) in the mid-2000s through my work in VFX just being a lowly coder. She was still very good-looking. As for Amy, I'll have to try to think up some Qs.

I just realized now that they inverted the colors (swapping the black) in DS9 and Voyager looking back at your pics. Derp! That does look a bit more slick but I like the colorfulness of TNG. It really stands out more who is who at a glance, like Beverly Crusher in blue as the medical officer [*].

[*] I had a crush on Beverly Crusher. A lot of TNG fans seemed to like Deanna but she seemed a bit more dramatic to me. Beverly always seemed so calm and had such a soothing voice.

I actually liked Dr. Pulanski as well even more than Beverly Crusher as the doctor since she was so assertive and challenged the crew (in a very calm and intellectual way), including Picard. She had such an interesting dynamic with the crew. Yet my crush was on Beverly Crusher. 😅

Why on God's green Earth is there a Rick and Morty style Star Trek show? It looks so dumb it needs to be killed with fire to put it out of its misery.

It's a tie between original and next gen.

I’m assuming you are talking about the cartoon Star Trek Lower Decks on this one & I have never seen it to be honest. As for the original Star Trek those uniforms look comfortable.

The original serise confirms are only better in my opinion because of the skirts the women wore, and the fact that they were not jumpsuits that didn't sit well on the waste as you can see every time any of them sits down.
Beyond that the next generation design was more appropriate. The Stores and ship design also seem to have been peak star trek. Certainly better than anything they make now.

I agree the problem with modern Star Trek is the writing, much like the problem with much of modern media particularly from legacy networks.

They just are not hiring people who know how to write real stories. Lower Decks is basically a Mary Sue story which is the definition of bad writing particularity in star trek.

That said its better than STD which doesn't just write bad stories but breaks and poisons cannon. STD all but killed the star trek Franchise, it was soo bad. Star trek would have been far better off not having it at all. Because it makes a joke of the Star trek universe.

I really like the Voyager uniforms, but then again maybe it's because ST:Voyager was the first 'Star Trek' show I watched as it was actually being made, back in the mid to late 90's.

As for me I like Star Trek Voyagers uniforms as well & maybe that is because I liked the crew & the starship as well. Growing up I watch the original Star Trek, I didn’t get into the next generation or deep space nine to much but when Voyager came on I was glue to the television. I have a Star Trek Voyager uniform or actually a costume & on Halloween a few times I proudly put the uniform on.

As for Star Trek Discovery I’ve seen the previews & a few clips & it didn’t catch my attention like the other series.

DS9 and Voyager look most comfy even though they don't differ much. Discovery uniforms look like """Cotton""" made of PET bottles somewhere in China.

Voyager and DS9 are exactly the same uniforms. Technically known as the DS9 Uniform.

Both shows take place at the same time. DS9 later gets rather different First Contact uniforms which were ugly. Uniforms Voyager never adopted due to their ship being too far away in the Delta Quadrant.

TNG, and I presume lower decks, are generally the same fit as Voyager and DS9.

The crew didn't care for TNG uniforms as you can see for how they had to constantly adjust them. Every time Picard sits down he has to pull his shirt down. The jump suit just doesn't work

As for space uniforms:
