I'm all for headbands! They're such a fun accessory to play around with, especially on days when I want to add a little oomph to my outfit or just keep my hair out of my face while I'm rushing about. I wear one almost every day right now, while my hair is long. I only want long hair for like two hours a day because it looks cool coming out of my hockey helmet, but I look atrocious the rest of the time. I’m pretty vain, I can’t believe I’ve kept it for this long and just volunteered to look ugly everyday for like three years😂

Anyway, most of the rest of my life I’m trying to figure out what to do with it so I look like a normal person, lmao. So I wear a neck gaiter that I fold up into a wide headband, I put my hair up and tie it at the top-center of my head, then pull the gaiter up and it gets the stray hairs that are flying away.

My hair is wavy with ringlet curls, so I tie it all up into that bunch at the top and then just let the curls spill out wildly. I get a lot of compliments on it…but I think it’s more that it looks “interesting”, not necessarily “good.”😂

That’s the same headband but my hair is down. But that’s the thickness, although I fold the back to be thinner than the front

Or even weirder, I cut a hole in the top of a baseball cap and wear that instead of a headband, like this dude from like 30 years ago…

But that look requires me to do all kinds of extra work getting my hair secured with bobby pins, etc, so I have to be committed to getting fly that day, haha

I once wore a bandana tied around my head in middle school. I still had bangs at the time and I felt like it looked pretty cute. I got several compliments but then the school counselor called me to her office, told me I looked cute, and proceeded to tell me that I had to take it off because it represented “gang activity”. Any other headbands don’t stay on my head because my hair is too smooth for it to stay and my head is also shaped kinda funny…so no, I don’t like to wear headbands 🥲

I have not worn a head band in years but when I used to wear them, I thought they looked good on me, but were also uncomfortable, cause they made my head warmer. Also my head is bigger because I'm full grown now so not sure a head band would fit me. I come from a family lineage of unusually large heads.

I used to wear headbands all the time when I was still in school years ago. Now I don't wear them anymore. Unless it's the minnie mouse ears most people wear in Disney world, that I'll wear, but only at Disney not anywhere else.
