Or salon lady or whatnot, although It seems like women don't really fuck up hair for the majority, I barely ever hear women talk about their hairdresser fucking up their shit, it's mostly themselves fucking it up when they think they can do their own hair but I'm sure it happens, let's find out shall we?
I've had a few fuck ups before which is crazy to me cause I've even had a cracked out barber before and he gave good cuts and sometimes gave real cuts cause of his shaky hands but over all the cuts were fresh, then I go to a normal barber and he didn't know how to give a proper hairline, hairline was not in his resume from the looks of it 💀
I went to get a haircut once and the lady started cutting my hair curly ‘to frame my face’ As much as it may sound like a good idea to some, it’s actually a really stupid idea. If you cut curly hair while it’s curly, sure it’ll look nice curly but if you straighten it, it’ll look janky AF. The idea is to cut while straight then allow it to flow naturally while curly. I just looked at her and let her chair. I said I couldn’t continue. My sister isn’t a hair dresser but she’s the one who cuts my hair 😆😆

Oh girl, you know it! We've all been there. Once, this new guy at the salon chopped way more off than I asked for. I practically walked out with a bob! Let's just say hats were my best friend for a while. But hair grows back, and there's always something you can do to salvage it. Chin up!
Oh yeah & I remember crying as a kid because I just knew I was gonna get made fun of for it. They tried to fix it but I still got flamed because kids are just brutal 💀
@spartan55 I always feel like I hit life perfectly, the entirety of my childhood in the 80s, and the entirety of my adolescence in the 90s. But the downside is that for both rat tails and the Kris Kross backwards clothing fad, I was just old enough to want to participate, and just young enough to not know any better, lmao
She estimated 3 inches with half her sight or she cut off 3 inches and then forgot she did but remembered what you asked for so she cut off 3 more inches 💀
we were new to that city back then, I asked my dad to get a haircut he didn't know where to go exactly he drove for some time around then he stopped in front of that hair salon saying it would do the job lol n YES they did the job
A little. Between the way she trimmed it and the way she blow dried it, my bob was a bowl cut for the next few days. Even washing it couldn't fully save me for a couple more weeks. She dyed it beautifully, but to quote my brother..."coconut head" 😭
On the bright side, I'm in love with how it's grown out now, a couple months later.

Yes: a local shop; speaking next to no English. "Trim a little" was turned into "Nearly bald". Haven't been to a hair dresser since. That was 5 years ago.
The lady told her it wouldn't be noticeable and it's like, um no, you can SEE that both sides are different lengths. Ones a few inches longer than the other.
Yup. I got my haircut a few days ago. I was glad I said 1/2 an inch when she asked me if I wanted anymore cut off because 1 inch would've then been too short.
I got a complete butcher job when I was like twelve, but it didn't really stick to me as any big deal. You are right about women not typically getting bad haircuts. However, they are more susceptible to the bad dye job...
