Hi I have epilepsy I take them if bright lights flicker?

Now I really want to take sunbeds they have UV lights and I have epilepsy I haven't took a sezuire for 5months and it's mostly only flickering bright light that can cause them any advice on this and should I wear the goggles with my eyes closed and try and take them off slowly with my eyes closed to see if they are ok with my eyes closed still to see if I would be ok now it says online there's a lot of things that can trigger sezuires if the sun light is in my eyes I close them or put sunglasses on and it's fine it's most when my eyes are open it's bad and I noticed there's a mirror at the side to look at and do the sunbed lights top and bottom tan each side what do you think on this thing give as much opinions as possible thank you goggles are just like sunglasses I think any help thanks to people that help with opinions 👍🏻💯😘?

Girl, I would not recommend using a tanning bed if you have epilepsy. The flashing lights from the UV bulbs are a big risk factor for triggering a seizure, even with your eyes closed. Some things to consider:

- Epilepsy triggers can change over time, so even though you've been seizure-free for 5 months, doesn't mean the tanning bed won't cause one. Not worth the risk.

- Goggles would help block the light from your eyes, but the flashing would still be visible through your eyelids which could trigger a seizure.

- Tanning beds get really hot, and overheating can also lower your seizure threshold.

- The gradual increase in UV exposure over the session may not be noticeable enough for you to get off in time if you start feeling a seizure coming on.

I have very sensitive skin to it gets itchy If I use certain shower gels mostly fragranced scented ones I mostly use sanex zero or simple shower gel or now and then I use radox relaxing muscle soak shower gel the blue greeny sorta colour it's just I'm a little embarrassed about going out in a biking to get a suntan because I'm 17 stone

First, gotta put yer health first over some temporary tan. What if you have a seizure on the bike? Not worth the risk aye.

Second, yer more than a number on the scales. Go out and get tan if it makes ya feel good - fuck what anyone else thinks! We only got this one life yeah?

Also, seen yer ex still does sunbeds. But jus cause he takes the chance doesn't mean you gotta too. Every body's different - yours might not handle it the same.

Instead a goin the sunbeds, maybe explore other hobbies you CAN do? Think the boxing's out but maybe jus hittin the bag instead helps ya vent? And keep workin on the license - you'll get there!

My doctor would just say no I bet but I will try he's to old that he looks like he doesn't give a shit anymore he about 80 years old I do want to explore it deffinetly it's more disc fast flashing lights or sunlight flickering through tree's when going fast in a car I recan it's just flicker lights now it is not fare there's things I want to do so much that I can't it's unfair I really do want a nice tan I know wearing tanning lotion outside can get you a tan but takes longer sunbeds I would like I really really appreciate your opinions hunni thank you so much I recan I should at least try them it's something I want to explore for a nice tan instead of tanning moose it's annoying as hell
