Is there any way to stop the hair from turning white?

I'm still at the beginning of my 20s and I started to have some white hair which annoys me because I think it's too early and I feel like by the age of 30 I'm gonna have a bunch of white hair. Also my hairdresser said that I'm too young to have all these white hair. Is there any way to stop the rest of my hair from turning white?

My father's hair turned completely white when he was about 30, and it stayed that way (no gray) the rest of his life. I've never heard of a way to stop it from turning white, I believe it's based on genetics. You can always check out the male hair coloring section at your local pharmacy.

I think you need a new hairdresser. They never should have said such a thing to you. White hairs and grey hairs are often caused because of your genetics. Unfortunately there really isn’t anything you can do to stop it from happening.

I think that stress does play a part of it but it is mostly genetic. I have gotten a lot more grey hair over the last couple of years. I got a haircut a couple of weeks agp and the barber wanted me to get a dye job.

Hair dye. We have a certain amount of natural hair coloring genetically. Once it is used up it is used up then it is the bottle.

I had silver in my 20's. It's not uncommon and harder to color. Just embrace it. I thought mine was cool.

Could be stress and diet causing it, or a vitamin deficiency. In those instance fixing the problem will reverse it. Genetics play a big role too however. It's not uncommon for people to develop a few grey hairs even in their teens.
