If my hair gets to the point where it needs combing at all, out come the clippers with a #4 attachment. It’s very unruly; any longer and it starts to look like it was combed with a blender. Also, I overheat very easily and a mop top just makes things worse. I used to have long hair which I was able to manage (barely) with an incredibly hot flat iron. Eventually it started becoming resistant to straightening, and any humidity would ruin it so I had to get rid of it.
At least I have hair. That’s the only good thing I can say about it.

Last time my hair was cut was late June `89. I HAVE had it slightly trimmed 2 or 3 times since then (back in the mid `90's!) but, just to get rid of split ends. But, even though I haven't cut it in 35 years, it still won't go past my lower back.

I like having quite short hair, buzz cut. The test is if it looks wonky in the morning it's too long. Ideally with my growth rate I'd get a haircut every 3 weeks, but I need to accommodate for my sister's schedule since she cuts my hair. So it ends up being around once a month or so.
As for me I like fresh cut grass so I take my electric trimmer & buzz cut my own hair every week & half to two weeks.
I trim it low in fall and winter. I like it super short or non-existent because it makes it easy to work with. In the spring/summer time I shave it off completely each week.
I cut my own hair, just trim it really as I like my long hair. And simply I just cut it when a part of it annoys me. Which can be whenever really.
get a fade, I like my hair a certain length, I just feel cleaner and fresher with a new hair cut. I remember when the pandemic first occurred, everything was shut down and my hair was growing for maybe 3 months+. I couldn't stand it. When I got my haircut that day it felt sooo good. Im different I don't like long hair.

I dislike the way my hair looks when it has recently been cut so I am slow in returning to the barber. Usually once every 8-10 weeks.
Lately, only 6-8 weeks to get my ends trimmed. When I have a real haircut and don’t look like an idiot, every three weeks😝
Every 2 or 3 weeks for me, because of the sport I play!
Not as often as a normal person, my hair grows fast but seems to slow down after a certain length, I can go a full year without the need to cut it

I do have mid/length hair... so it only needs a trim from time to time
