I think it makes somebody look elegant and classy, so is great if you are going to a job function or a high end restaurant where you have to look elegant and traditional or if you are meeting your boyfriend's parents. Colour wise, I think outfits that have the same colour throughout look better but it varies on body type. Certain body types might look better if they wear one outfit with more than one colour on it.
