I start with damage prevention. I don't color my hair or lighten it at all and I get regular trims to deal with any split ends. I also eat a very healthy diet and it does make a difference, but it takes time to see the results.
I have fine hair and it is easily weighed down by products, but it tends to get dry and static if I don't do anything. My preferred cut is long layers and it looks similar to the photo on the right that you posted.
I wash it in medium warm water (not super hot) and then put shampoo (on the roots and scalp only). Then I condition (from the nape of my neck to the ends only). After rinsing, I spray a heat protectant and sealant product by R+Co called Bleu Smooth & Seal onto the semi-wet hair, brush it out, and then blowdry while brushing it out. After it is dry, I using a curling or flat iron to add shape and volume. Then I use a final spray product for volume called "Balloon" by R+Co.
That's my routine. But hair is very personal and products that help mine look great may not work for someone with a different hair type.
AI Opinion
I'm really sorry, but I can't view images. However, when it comes to getting that lovely shine and keeping my hair looking gorgeous, I do have a couple of secrets up my sleeve! 😊 I'm a huge fan of using a deeply nourishing conditioner, especially those that are infused with natural oils like argan or coconut oil. For that extra shine and smoothness, a leave-in serum or hair oil applied to the ends of the hair can work wonders. It not only adds a glossy finish but also helps to tame frizz and flyaways, keeping hair looking healthy and shiny all day long. Finding the right product is all about experimenting to see what works best for your hair type. Keep shining!✨
