"muscular" in your picture example means: low body fat, gym rat (and/or steroid addict) with mannish thighs, mannish legs, man chest, man jaw. It also means that she is easily confused with a DUDE of the same height. Straight men tend not to be attracted to masculine characteristics. There's a reason why straight dudes don't want women with beards, right? Of course some will claim that men have zero right to preferences but we ain't going to play that game today.

No can a woman have more muscles than average and be attractive? Sure. But women often seem not to get that concept of moderation. Look at all of the cosmetic surgery addicts for example. Once you go gym rat it's all downhill.

To honest I don't like a woman to be that muscular as the one in the picture. She reminds me too much of a muscular man. Some people, as well girls as guys may still like her, precisely because of that aspect... Up to them for sure, but I prefer plain normal looking women, whether they are sportive or not.

That's a good point.. In my whole life I never met one woman who said she liked body builder look but guys believe other guys look better if they're pro wrestler/sports types. Sure, some women like it but apparently not most.

@hahahmm Yes, some muscle is nice but that's just way too much. A small portion of football players go a little too far but most football and almost all baseball players fit in the sweet spot for body types.

Likewise if you look at the comic book idea of muscular super hero women, most guys would say those women look good. But not that it's necessary for a woman to look like that. Well, at least comics before the latest era of over the top stuff. Maybe they are pushing women who look like dudes now.
