Do leggings look good with dresses in summer?

I'm from a conservative country where people don't like if you show legs. I was considering trying that look but not sure if it is appropriate for the season.

Yeah they do look good with dresses provided the color you chose matches the dress.
I've actually seen and know women who like you mentioned can't wear dresses coz of the societal norms so they choose leggings to go with the dress.
Summer temperatures are ofc crazy this year so comfort should be your priority in my opinion.
At home, you could simply wear the dresses.
That actually reminds me how men here just go about wearing only shorts and vests in public but a woman can't. 😐

Yes.. it looks better.. but looking into summer it may cause uncomfortable... if you really want those leggings, try cotton material, it will slight better than lycra..
Why don't you try little higher length i. e, upto knee and then you can go without leggings...
