I’m still wearing 11-12” inseams, they hit around my knee. This little short-shorts I see dudes wearing today are for the birds. My generation battled too hard in the 80s as kids to kill that look, lmao

I used to have a pair of shorts like the bottom ones. They started out as jeans, then, after they got holes in the knees, were made into cut-off shorts and eventually kept getting shorter and shorter every time a thread came loose or they got thrown in the wash.

No, that was in the mid `80's. I'm sure mom threw them out back then. You know, I'd go to work or school and she'd go up to my room and edit my dresser, throwing out anything SHE didn't like!
However, last summer I bought some shorts at Aldi and one of them turned out to be women's shorts. I didn't find out `til AFTER I'd had them on for awhile so, I couldn't return them. They're okay to wear but, if I bend over, my cheeks get a tan.

I don't have a problem with it but some people, today, get pissed off if I even show my knees in public! Like, just because a bunch of homies started wearing "shorts" that go down to their shoes 20 years ago, now it's considered obscene for a guy to show off his thighs!! Last week, I wore the short ones and a few people started ridiculing me as soon as I walked into a store. It's NOT MY problem! It's THEIRS!!

Rugby Shorts are fairly short and quite often get ripped during the game, so it wouldn't matter HOW short they were because you can't run off the pitch to change, even if they are hanging off. Well you can, but you get grief from your team mates afterwards.

I have some that are v. short and some that are kind of medium, for different situations. By medium I mean like the picture 4angelic put here, by short I mean like the first two elizamichale1 put here.

I showed so much skin in the summer when I was like 16 to 20, I still do sometimes but not as often, I feel more guilty now when kids and esp. little girls see me like that so I save it for the right situation now vs just walking down the street like that.
