What are your thoughts on guys who wear bandanas or durags? Can a guy were one without looking like a criminal?

I saw a fire fighter with a bandana on his forehead and thought it looked cool but also the only other times I see people wearing them are in gangs etc. Thoughts? Keep in mind I grew up in a middle class suburb so I didn't see them often.

Certain professions or doing physical labor I think it's pretty normal. They're very normalized in sports too.

However, if you wear them just in general in public especially with normal clothes is definitely looks strange. Then obviously if it's certain colors people will make assumptions in this case

You know there’s a reason why black men wear durags right? My Husband wears a durag to keep his waves fresh and no he doesn’t look like a criminal. Most men don’t wear durags because it makes them look stylish is a way to protect their hair.
