For me it really depends on the type of person. I care what some people think but other people’s opinions can be irrelevant to me.

If it is just some physically unattractive guy with a bad personality that matches his looks I probably wouldn’t care if they thought I wasn’t pretty. I have no interest in them. Their opinion about me is meaningless.

If it was a guy I found physically attractive and personality I liked as well I would want for them to think I am pretty. If they thought I was pretty they would probably feel more interested in speaking with me.

Yes. But on different levels depending on how close I am to the person. And even if I don't like someone, it won't keep me from not caring about what they think. You see, I value all perspectives! I don't just let any random opinion dictate more than I see it's worth. Especially since I'm no so easily impressionable anymore & I have many opinions of my own with solid foundations of logic behind them.

For instance, I want everyone to look at me & think that I must be a somewhat physically competent due to my physique or even intelligent due to how I speak or how I carry myself. But if anyone thinks differently, it would be very difficult for it to get to me unless I knew them well & trusted them to a certain degree. But even if I did, I'd understand that their perspective is just one of many. And no perspective is the truth really. Just a truth. We are not God.

I've had people razzing my as most of my life over my looks and loads of other things. I was never a fashion plate! I wear what I like and if nobody else likes it, FUCK `EM!! Why should I be uncomfortable just to make THEM happy when they'll make fun of me no matter what I wear or how I look? When I'm on stage, what works best for me to be able to play the way I need to, I wear a leotard, pantyhose and mini skirt! Most of my fans EXPECT me to wear that!! Some are even disappointed if I don't! To them, it's like going to see AC/DC and not seeing Angus in his school boy outfit, seeing Kiss without the make-up, seeing Cheap Trick without Rick in his school boy outfit.

No. One example.. when we dress up to go out I normally get into a car which is parked inside our garage so neighbors don't see that side of me much. One time my sister was over and happened to be wearing a skirt and leaning against their car in our driveway on her phone. My neighbor said he nearly ran his mailbox over when he thought it was me. I told him I should be offended but it was too funny.

On some level everybody does. Everybody likes to be thought highly of. But to answer your question, no not really. Because I am who I am and that's not going to change whether you like me or not. So if you don't accept me for ANY reason, that's your hangup, not mine. And I'm not going to waste my time worrying about that.

I know I’m not going to be everyone’s preference and that’s something I am okay with. Not everyone will think I am pretty but some people might. Not everyone will think I am plain but some people might. Not everyone will think I am ugly but some people might.
