Why do black men with long hair get braids or dreadlocks?

I have been noticing that only black men with long hair get braids or dreadlocks, and I don't know why they get them.

Have you seen their hair? It's either that or a complete frizz ball.

So why don't they do the shit that females do to their hair? Because that would be gay.

I'm just saying there is a reason most don't even try and just keep a short cut. There is a reason that so many black women just give up and shave it off and wear wigs. Mixed girls are a different story, but you don't know full on black girls until you've seen their hair literally break off.
