Should I shave my head?

Hi, I'm a high-school sophomore and I'm still debating whether or not I should shave my head, I'm scared of getting bullied if I do, my hair is pretty much damaged and thinning and short and my family members already poke fun at me as well as random people at school for having short hair, calling me bald etc. I want to shave my hair so I can start over but the process of growth takes too long.. should I or should I not? I don't want to risk getting bullied more. And since I'm a girl beauty standards exist especially at school it exist I'm boys too bit for some reason at my school at least girls and 100% prone to being put down or bullied.

I did in school years. I was big on donating hair for many years. I had an established reputation though and nobody questioned it as I had shared I was donating for a cause.
You sound as if you are in a very different situation. You'll be opening yourself up to bullying. School years are hard enough without making it harder by choice.
You can be strong and do as you feel and own it and enjoy. It's your choice though.

Girl do it! I cut my hair off and donated it when I was 17. I then shaved my hair off so I had a buzzcut. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I felt so free and liberated.
