I'm 41 and the crown of my head is going bald. Shave or not? Or?

I used to have short hair all my life. Over the past 4 years, I've grown it longer on top to hide my "spot". I recently cut some hair from my top and now it's harder to cover "it".

I don't know what to do. Cut it or hide it?

Better to just shave or close cut like others suggested.
And just know that doesn't make you less a man, less attractive. "Bald" is beautiful, too.
My hubby started going bald in his 20's and shaved it then.
He carried it so well, didn't know for awhile it really did bother him, but to me he still looked just as good of not better.
(Ha ha funny tho true story, when I was a kid visiting in S. C. that saying was posted in the store and I made a rude, dumb comment bout who the heck would think bald is beautiful? Well, the bald store owner, that's who 🤷 yeah, I got in trouble for that one)

I suggest you shave your head completely or wear it very very short. I think it's very attractive when guys accept their baldness.

You could also talk to your doctor about rogaine and/or propecia (finasteride). As far as I know they are the only two things that have been clinically proven to be effective at slowing/reversing hair loss.

When my hair is fixed, it doesn't look like that. It's covered, but looks thin. I was pointing out how big the "spot" is.
