Mustaches are making a come back... your thoughts?

They never really left I don’t think but if they did I didn’t notice this and if they’re back this is great. Makes men look more masculine but a lot cleaner than full on beards and easier to maintain since beards would need more maintenance and not every guy does, so their beards end up looking unhealthy and gross- dry… uneven… catching food… 🤢

but beards are so short it doesn’t have to by conditioned or washed and brushed out a lot. Though they should try cause I read of people scrubbing upper lips because of the amount of bacteria and stink it can collect and especially if we become absent minded, careless, or forgetful about it.

So imagine how much bacteria could be there with a mustache soaking it up.

And everyone already knows about the like million bacteria types on our lips and in exchange of a kiss so that whole area has a lot of germs. Beard could only enhance that so would need more maintenance/ hygienic care.

Also some guys don’t notice after blowing the nose a rubbery booger could end up on the stache. Sometimes even slimey ones and it’s never a pretty site. Grosses me out cause it’s so close to entering their mouth and it just hangs there wet 😂 like OH NO - it could go back in the nose getting inhaled, fall into the mouth/ get licked up, could get touched and transported elsewhere (somewhere I may touch), or fall on the surface tops or floors and end up somewhere by me- and I never NEVER want to touch anyone else’s boogers 😭.

So beard maintenance is SUPER important. Otherwise the looks are very appealing and attractive.

I went to a work event and every guy had some kind of mustache — some REALLY “to the nines” with a full, trimmed, waxed mustache and others with a sad sort of nod to the mustache theory…. We all shook hands in a series of friendly greetings. As usual, I was very aware of the different levels of male attention I was getting as the only female professional in the room. Finally, this one ginger guy with a full brush mustache greeted me and I said, “Great meeting you ___. Now THAT is an amazing mustache. Now I feel bad for waxing mine.” (It was a genuine compliment… not all ginger guys can grow facial hair like that.) He and a bunch of the other guys laughed as the gender tension finally broke and we sat down to begin the presentation sessions.

I can't stand it in general. There's the odd guy that wears it really well, but for the most part, it transforms them into hillbillies with zero sex-appeal. The way guys feel about women with dyed hair and piercings? That's what mustaches and mullets are for me, X10

Well, they do not work for all guys, that's for sure.

But on the right man, it's highly attractive. I'm still half in love with Disney's Guy Williams (Armando Catalano) as Zorro. His mustache was absolutely necessary to complete the look.

I would say lip lettuce has always been popular in hockey and some people pull it off, but some do not. Auston Matthews for example looks like a pedophile with his, but Stuart Skinne can pull it off well. I think it looks bad on most.
