I feel like there are two main cases here.

If the girl in question is petite, glasses give her the innocent look. I would hardly call it sexy, since it mostly invokes my protective intincts instead of any primal ones or any carnal desires, but it still sure is visually pleasing.

If the girl in question is somewhat tall and slender, glasses give her that nerdy/refined look. This one is far more what's commonly perceived as sexy, but it still makes me want to act as gentle as possible.

Overall, it's as if the glasses seal some hidden power away, making the girl look mysterious, in an "oh, she's much more capable than she lets on" way. This opinion might be biased, though, since I wear glasses myself and I might actually be a bit of a glasses chauvinist.

Of course, in some cases glasses don't change anything. Especially if they attempt to look stylish. Simple prescription glasses just have that unassuming look to them, while either sunglasses or any "novelty" glasses design look more snobbish than anything else.
