Like with using certain angles, clothes and filters. Why do plus size models have their photos edited to reduce things like rolls or certain protrusions? This seems counterintuitive. Or just outright dishonest. I'm interested in some other perspectives though.

Unhealthy is not fit. Doesn't matter what the advertisements want you to believe. Medical issues aside fitness takes effort and self control. It takes a balanced mentality. Most people who are overweight aren't happy so are unbalanced mentally. It takes reaching a point a person doesn't want to be confined to a body which slows them down and makes them feel the need to hide before they get up and work out.
