The fact that it's celebrated is really bizarre. It's fine if you're overweight and struggling, but want to change and you know it's unhealthy. Many people are in that position. They know they need to lose weight and they're trying, even if they fail again and again. That's one thing. But to champion overeating and being fat, wearing it like a gold star and attaching some weird so-called sex appeal to it, is out of this world. I'm really shocked that women especially have adopted this philosophy given how harshly women are judged by their appearance in this culture.

It's rather like the distinctive odor of one's own stinky feet or the subtle musk of a lover's skin. What one person finds repulsive, another may find irresistible. Some men love fat women because the smell of fried chicken on their blouse can be linked to the idea of fertility and nurturing. Your future children won't ever experience hunger around a fat goddess. Other guys love to smell our own feet and be reminded of vinegar and decomposing vegetation, signifying future growth and sustenance. At the end of the day, it's just primal instinct.

I guess you'd have to ask them, because it doesn't make any sense really. Obesity isn't just unattractive, but it's also extremely unhealthy. It's a sign of poor choices in life, a lack of self-control and discipline, and laziness. It doesn't take much to get out of your chair and move around a bit. It also doesn't take much willpower to resist a McDonald's Big Mac, or the greasy chips you get from the fish-and-chip shop.

You like what you like & big is beautiful as some say & if women think fat is attractive that is their choice. On the other hand a woman cardiologist might not think fat is attractive.

as a former fat person, who weirdly enough thought she was still hot at like bmis of 26-31... it was mainly a combo of thinking my face was prettier than it was (so it would compensate a bit for the body) + me being a minor (i thought that since i was like 16 my age would still me make me attractive to most grown guys) + thinking i didn't look my weight/not realising how big i was (i saw myself as thinner than i was, it's a common thing with fat people for science reasons) + i still did get a lot of attention from guys and it was easy with certain types of people to get dates or do dirty stuff if i wanted to. though i did realise though very well that for guys my age (unless they were of certain origins where they like bigger girls), i wasn't very attractive because they thought i was too big. so i wasn't completely delulu but stilll

Lots of people claim fat is beautiful, because they think it's what is expected of them in todays woke society.

I tried telling a female co-worker (who spews such nonsense regularly) that she looked like Lizzo.

She was not pleased. I pretended to be surprised, and asked why she didn't take it as a compliment, since she always goes on about how sexy various fat women are.

I'm sure some guys do like the fatties. But it's not as prevalent as you might have been lead to believe.

The idiotic "body positivity" movement gives fat broads the idea they're as desirable as hot chicks, and that men are shallow haters for not wanting to nearly worship them.( Of course, obese black women have thought this way for decades, but now more and more non-black women have picked up this weird idea.)

I don't think they really believe it. It's just the fad of the modern time to deny what makes for attractiveness, at its root is just laziness. They want an out from putting in hard work so they pretend they don't have to to be desirable.
