Maybe I'm too practical-minded, but it's a design I don't like. I don't see the point of covering the neck. It would look nicer without that detail. Even with the shoulders bare. Or shoulders and neck completely covered.

But then I don't like asymetrical designs either. Tops that have one long sleeve and a short sleeve on the other side. You wonder who invented these things. Or turtle neck sweaters. I don't see the point: you're either cold or warm. Turtle neck and long sleeves when it's cold outside. Short sleeves and a rounded neck when it's warm.

I'm sure I'd never make a career in fashion :)

But I came of age in the '80s and '90s, when chokers were more prevalent.
