Do you clean your eye contacts?

i just started wearing contacts for the first time and i got monthly contacts, it’s been about 5 days and was wondering if i should clean them? i put them in saline solution at night but my eyes feel extremely tired and heavy today. do you think that’s why they’ve been feeling like that because they aren’t clean?

What I do now is wear daily contacts. That means that each pair is only worn for one day and then thrown away. That way, my contacts are fresh every and new day. No saline solution or cases needed. Daily contacts are not very expensive either, as many people would think. The price is very reasonable and is about the same as any other contacts. Then you'd never have to stress about cleanliness anymore. I've been wearing contacts for 22 years and this is the best way that I've found to make things easier.

Unless you want your eyes to be extremely irritated, you have to properly clean them. I’ve worn contacts for almost four years. Believe me, I know.

Once you had your first conjunctivitis, you won't ask that question again... having them every night in fresh (!) saline solution is okay, but use cleaning tablets once a week.
