Yes, absolutely yes! (Or use daily disposables.) You really don't want to take chances with your eyes, do you?
im new to wearing contacts so I used saline solution instead and then I tried contact solution and I feel a big difference.
Really, you need to use what's recommended. If you're really strapped for cash, I'd probably use a three-month bottle for a week or two longer than recommended, but only if I'd never screwed up and left the top off overnight. Or just get some glasses, which can be obtained online for a fraction of the old prices.
Wash and dry your hands before messing with them, too, you can get worms from tap water (although it's extremely rare).
appreciate you. No, money isn’t an issue, I just assumed contact solution and saline solution was the same thing.
No, lenses build up protein on the surface. In the olden days it was a two-step process, hydrogen peroxide overnight, then another liquid (saline, I think) before putting them in your eyes. Forgetting the second part was not a nice experience!
Even then, every month was another cleaning regimen, to remove protein.
oh, maybe that’s why the last few days using just saline solution, my eyes felt tired and terrible
Yes contact cleaning solution, and yes you should every day unless disposable ones.
great. I used saline solution for a few days and felt terrible. Then I used the contact solution and now I feel great. I didn’t know which one to use
Yeah, use the contact solution. Made specifically for them. At least better now.
Im new to wearing contacts so i’ll definitely use contact solution for now on. thank you
Welcome!
Yes of course, you wouldn't want to lose an eye to an infection.
