Do you think it’s generally harder to be a tall man or a tall woman?

I have heard in the past more than one person say being a short man is harder than being a short woman.

I just thought about putting this question in reverse.

Do you think it’s generally harder to be a tall man or a tall woman?

A man who is 188 cm (6’2”) or taller would definitely stand out less compared to a woman who is 188cm (6’2”) or taller.

They would stand out less because height of 6 feet or more is much more common among men.

A tall woman would have it harder. Traditional beauty standards dictate that men are more attractive when they are tall and women are more attractive when they are short.

It is more difficult to be a short man than a tall woman.

A short man (160-165) is not liked by almost anyone, regardless of the beauty of his face and physique.

A tall woman may have some difficulties, especially if she is much taller than most men, but much less than a short man. Men unlike women have more varied and uneven tastes, so a tall woman could more easily find a guy taller than her or as tall as her who is attracted to her.

Women tend to have stricter criteria, so being a short man is a major disadvantage.

I'm 6'5" so I think I'm above avg. In height.

I think it depends what you mean by "harder". People generally think I'm stronger than I am because of my size. So they expect me to be able to lift more. I've had guys pick fights with me i think specifically because of my size. And in my experience the old saying that women are attracted to height, not true. At least not in my case.🤣 I don't think my height has benefitted me one iota there.

Now as far as women goes, I don't think it's hard to be a tall girl UNLESS the tall girl makes it hard on herself. My sister is 5'10". (Were all pretty tall in my family🤣) and she won't even dance with a guy shorter than her. Tall women decide they look ridiculous with shorter guys. So it's not harder for a woman to be tall tall women simply decide to make their lives harder.

Honestly, I don't think it's hard to be short or tall for ANY gender. I think some people put a RIDICULOUS emphasis on height.

Tallness is a masculine trait, so I tall men should be more popular than a tall woman, but being a woman is so easy that even most unattractive women can find someone, there is no doubt that the most hard thing is being a short man, unmasculine, weak and a male.

I'm 5'9" and that's why I don't wear high heels... I did go out and buy 2 pair, 4" pumps and 4" wedges but I really only wear them for one person because they really make me tall! He told me he Loves seeing a tall girl in high heels so I went out and bought 2 pair.

My biggest hassle has always been trying to find clothes to fit. That and finding a girlfriend! Especially a tall one!! Other than that, my only problem is hitting my head a bit more often than others.
