Girls, Skimpy bikinis, yay or nay?

Would you or do wear skimpy bikinis/bathing suits to the beach, on vacation, to pool parties, etc. whenever appropriate? What are your thoughts and opinions on this subject?

My girlfriend and I both enjoy wearing stuff like thong and G-string bikinis where it's allowed and children aren't present. We find them extremely comfortable, like wearing nothing at all, so much so that I forget that I'm wearing anything.

She and I just got back from a weekend in Cabo San Lucas and skimpy swimwear was pretty all we wore the entire time there, aside from the sun dresses we covered up with whenever we went to and from the beach resort.

My baby's definitely a G-string girl, as evidenced by the pic above, and thank goddess she and I both have the bodies to pull it off.

Well, always bikini but thong would only be if I know exactly who will see me and it’s OK for them to see me that way, in other words, not kids, not my parents friends, not a coworker etc. I used to wear thongs a lot when I was younger but I started realizing it bothered some people. Actually my worst swimsuit related situation is my boyfriend was at the beach at a work event and I went with him and I was wearing a thong on the beach when we ran into his boss’s boss and had to stand there and talk for ten minutes.

@Paige90 Well it was a woman so no, she had a smile which I felt like was more judging or amused than turned on. Nothing negative ever came of it. I did end up in a kind of weird situation with one of his executives later, this one was male and I know he wanted to fool around w me and I think he wanted to fool around w me with his wife, they didn’t come out and say it but the vibes were strong, but I played dumb and avoided the situation. I actually babysat for them later.

I like wearing thong bottoms for sure. I don’t wear any that are too tiny or skimpy tho. I just find them to be comfortable and practical. They stay put when your swimming and give a great tan.

as for the really skimpy ones, if that’s your thing then go for it! Wear what makes you feel confident and sexy. It’s a personal choice and no one should pass judgement

I wore one on my honeymoon in tenerife and went topless. My husband certainly enjoyed it but I really just prefer a one piece swimsuit maybe with shorts
