Bikini, or nah?

Guys I know i'm overweight. I'm 5'5 and weight 66 kilos. What i wanted to know if i'm too fat for a bikini. thanks

Height and weight isn't everything - your body shape matters too.

These women have similar or higher BMIs and can pull off a bikini, because they are genetically fortunate to carry the weight well.

Not every girl is so fortunate. Some girls could weigh less, but carry the extra weight in the wrong places, and not look as good. So you'll have to let the mirror help you decide.

by the way, I think all of the above women are okay, even the one with a bit of belly roll.

@ShaeNielson I realize that and I wasn't trying to find a girl with those specs (which wouldn't be easy to do via pic search anyway), but rather give a more general idea. Again, it really depends more on shape than specific size, because different people carry weight differently.

Give it a try and see how you look. You are not too overweight but feeling comfortable in your body and clothes is important. Maybe try a one-piece suit. If you are still insecure then try losing some weight by going for runs, exercising, and eating healthier foods. Instead of ice cream or candy as a snack go for an apple or banana. Fruits taste great, they are healthy, and they fill you up. Only benefits.

I'm 4'11 about 60kg (130+lbs). I wouldn't wear a bikini cuz I'm self conscious.
Your measurements don't sound like you're big. More like normal body size.

If you wanna wear it. Then wear it. There isn't a weight limit to be seen in public.

Omg you can TOTALLY wear a bikini if you want to! Torrid has some really pretty bikinis out already and skirtinis always look super cute. Keep your eyes peeled and I'm sure you'll find something you like and feel confident in!

You are not that overweight... And we can't really tell you if you will fit in a bikini if you are posting a pic of yourself...

But i think if your body is in shape and you got a fine ass then go for it :-)

70% of US population are overweight, so yeah for sure, by definition "average" is overweight!

"Overweight" is not defined in terms of the average (otherwise if everyone was 150kg, you could claim nobody was overweight as that would be the average - which would obviously be stupid) ... "overweight" has to do with what is a HEALTHY body size and body fat percentage etc.
