Do you think you belong to the 'jeans generation'?

My mother and father never wore jeans. My grandparents wouldn't have dreamt of wearing them. It was probably way before their time, or just not fit for them.

For me, it's like a daily outfit and the trousers I feel most comfortable in. I can see myself at the respectable age of 85 still wearing jeans.

So, do you think you belong to the 'jeans generation'? Something you've worn since you were kids?

Yes I definitely belong to the jeans generation. When I was thirteen I used to wear a total jeans outfit but I soon replaced it with tracksuits. And still today I wear jeans on occasion.

Definitely! I've been wearing jeans 👖's since 1967!! I think that's when girls first started wearing jeans - back in the hippie days and I was there when it started!!👖

Good for you. And I notice fashion comes back as well. Those were the days when pipes were wider at the bottom. I don't know the exact English term to describe them.

The English term for the wide bottom pants are called Bell Bottoms or Bell Bottom jeans or pants.

For my parents jeans were symbols of the 68 protest generation, so they definitely wore them. I wear jeans when I expect to get dirty.
