Sometimes cheap brands can be better than expensive brands?

RI bought the lipstick and gloss for only 3 dollars. I used Maybelline before and to be honest I was not satisfied at all.

Expensive brands are not necessarily good quality products. The extremely expensive Italian high-end fashion brands may look great, but a solid, well-made pair of jeans (Levis or similar) will probably last much longer. Conversely, a cheap product is not necessarily good either. I always try to find the best price-performance product. These are usually items in the lower to middle price segment.

My ex once told me that she thought that cheap hairspray was a lot better than expensive hairspray. I'm not sure why she thought this or what the advantages to cheap hairspray actually were. Now she is long gone of course and I can't ask her and that is a good thing.

I can assure you , YES on numerous occasions , never get sucked into the entire " brands " thing , I worked with brands half my life , most of it is protectionist bullshit.

Often the expensive manufacturing plants also produce for other stores, there to be sold under their cheaper store-brands. You can check if that's the case by researching the manufacturer codes on the labels.

Personally, I like to research brands and also read the chemical content of what I'm buying, especially if it's something that I'm going to consume or put on myself.

Often, the cheap brands are made by the more expensive brand's company. Without the big brand name, its costs less for mostly the same thing.
