Before someone gets pissy with my answer, I am not the type to just stare at women at the gym. HOWEVER, I am aware of everything around me at all times and cannot help but notice the habits of others that come to the gym at the same time as me when I see the same people all the time around me.

I've noticed at my gym that the most in shape girls typically are NOT the ones wearing clothing that shows everything off. They are also the most humble girls I know AND are not afraid to interact with and even help guys at the gym. And they are legit strong too. Not just "strong for a girl" but legit strong. Even when they are leaving and are no longer in workout clothes, their jeans are not usually very tight.

On the other hand, the girls at our gym that DO dress very... uh form fitting... are usually ego lifting (meaning not knowing what they are doing), are the ones making fun of guys they think are weaker than them and are the ones likely to cry wolf when someone just glances their way. These girls, while in ok shape, are also generally the ones wearing the type of clothes you are asking about.
