I don't care who is getting a naval piercing. What I do care about in an unfortunately shallow way is what shape the wearer is in. in my opinion a hairy potbelly is no place for a naval ring, male or female. It's not visibly appealing to me.

That being said, to each their own. Who am I to judge. My best friend has his naval pierced when we were younger. It was an act of rebellion in the moment but he did say it was also have him a confidence boost at the time. It made him feel liberated and more attractive. Similar to my septum piercing I suppose, I felt empowered when I got it. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I love it and it makes me happy! So again to each their own.

i think its a pretty tacky piercing myself. but I don't own my man, so if he really wants one, that his prerogative. I have a tattoo and aim for me and he doesn't like them himself.

Yes, Piercings are very attractive, at least to me they show an openness to new ideas and concepts, branching out from gender norms and also- is just generally very attractive. If my partner had a belly button piercing i wouldn't fixate on it, but i think its nice :]

Stereotypes, especially gender ones, are generally true, because they're based upon observed reality, and not "feelings" or "intuition" or whatnot.
