So, my school has a ban on steel toe boots after this guy got got hospitalized from getting kicked by a girl wearing them, in a fight or argument or something that seriously hurt him. anyway they gave us a lot of lectures for everyone, on conflict resolution and respect for each other's bodies and how serious that injury was, which I totally get, but then they went and banned bulky boots.

Yeah sounds like another stupid dress code with no exceptions even when you are following the rules, just suffer for the next few years & do what they say and don’t question it.

If I were a teacher there I’d speak up for you, though sadly I’m not so just deal with it. Sucks that it shits on your fun & your totally tubular fashion frenzy though just something to deal with.
